All of us at yudu are so thankful for all of our new customers this year and we want to sincerely thank you for helping us grow and for spreading the word about how great our clothes are. This year we have converted all of our packaging to recycled paper and plastic products. Our shipping boxes are recycled, our tissue paper is recycled, our plastic holiday bags are recycled and we have reduced waste in our office. Keep an eye out for exciting new clothing coming next spring! Also, we would love to hear any suggestions you may have for new organic cotton or recycled poly clothing. A Clean Life

yudu is happy to announce our partnership with A CLEAN LIFE. This is another grass roots organization with such an amazing mission. We all need to make changes in our lives to help reduce waste.

A Clean Life is dedicated to environmental stewardship through reducing waste, sustainable eating, and community building

They have a very simple vision:

“Change the way America deals with trash”

To accomplish this, Steven and Spencer Mandzik are devoting themselves full-time. Both of them want to help make a lasting impact in their community and their country. They want to because it is hard to grow up in an environment that is slowly being destroyed. Our beaches, our bays, our streets are out of balance.

To bring this back into balance they are going to help citizens and business alike. With a multi-prong plan of attack they look to see sustainable results in their local community in 2 years. Once successful they hope to work on the neighbor’s community, your community, and (with some luck) the entire country. Here are some of their plans:

yudu will debut our Fall 2009 line at this years WWD MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas, February 17-19. We are really excited to be located in the ECOLLECTION marketplace and will be surrounded by other companies who really care about Organic clothing as well making a difference in the world we live in.

Also, i wanted to let our readers know how difficult it has been to produce 100% Organic Clothing Made in the USA. We sourced from a variety of different vendors to design this line but as our logo shows, nothing is 100% complete and 2 of our 100% Organic shirts are made outside of the US. Of course they are made in sweat shop free factories and with Fair Trade.

This is the first posting to our new blog and we want to tell you about yudu and also have some questions for our friends and those new to the yudu movement.

What is Yudu?
Yudu is a celebration of doing what you love to create a life of infinite possibility. After all, doing is the foundation of life. Whether it’s walking the dog, running, cooking, hugging, dancing—whatever it is that “you do”—do it well, do it with love, do it with care, and do it with passion. By doing, in the best way you know how, you can create a happy and full existence for yourself, your family, your community, and world.

What do Yudu?
We at Yudu do what we love with all we’ve got. Help us spread the message of the power of one, and tell us what yudu everyday. Ride your bike? Babysit? Clean up trash? Smile at strangers? Help animals? We really want to hear about it, send us what yudu, pictures, videos, anything works.

Know someone who knows how to du life well? Maybe they’re a great mom or dad, an inspiring teacher, a wicked-good volleyball player—anything works, as long as they du their thing with passion! Tell us and we might feature them on our website and send them or you free clothes.
